Virtual Exhibits Investment Program - Post-Launch Activities and Opportunities

After the launch of your exhibit, there are ongoing activities and opportunities.

Post-Launch Activities

  • Conduct quarterly verifications of all hyperlinks including the data and correct as required.

  • Respond to public feedback.
  • Review the Web Statistics which you will receive each month.

Opportunities for Further Funding

There are two ways to receive further funding for your launched Virtual Exhibits Investment Program exhibit or interactive resource:

1. Minor updates

For existing VMC products in which there is an interest in making minor updates to the content or the technical functionality of the production (a ceiling of $25,000, plus GST/HST applies), the VMC will consider additional investment in these products at the time of their contract renewal. A modification proposal must be submitted to the program by email to invest.programme-ex@pch.gc.ca.

2. Major updates

For major updates (over $25,000, excluding GST/HST) to any existing productions in which the VMC has previously invested, a new proposal must be submitted for review to the VMC Editorial Board during a Call for Proposals period.
