Products Hosted on the CHIN Server

If you’re a CHIN member institution with VMC products, we invite you to review the VMC Exhibits Webstats on a regular basis to assess the performance of your product(s).

Products Hosted on Other Servers

CHIN members with products that are hosted on servers external to CHIN must regularly provide statistical data about their VMC investment product(s).  These data are then added to the VMC Exhibits Webstats Report by CHIN.

The provision of statistical information about VMC products hosted on servers external to CHIN is a contractual obligation of all funding recipients, for a period of five years following the launch of the product.  The following monthly figures must be provided to CHIN on a quarterly basis (March 31st, June 30th, September 30th, December 31st)* within ten working days of the end of each quarter:

• Hits (or requests)
• Page views
• Visits (or user sessions)
• Visitors (or unique users)
• Duration of visit (or average session length)

Note:  Upon request, the Program Coordinator (invest.programme-ex@pch.gc.ca) will provide a form for you to use when compiling and sending the above information.
